“Nobody gets anywhere alone. People need other people.”

Last week, I sat down with the one and only, Summer Watson, on the Moments Worth Remembering podcast to discuss the significance of fostering quality connections.

I've known Summer for several years now.

One thing or trait of hers that has stood out to me for as long as I’ve known her is her willingness to help others.

It's a quality that I believe defines her character.

I remember moments when mutual connections of ours were facing challenges in their lives, and without a hesitation, Summer was the first to step up and help.

She organized gatherings, put together get-well gifts, and extended her support without ever being asked.

That's the kind of person Summer is - selflessly caring and always ready to lend a hand when it's needed most.

Summer is truly the type of person you want to have in your corner when life throws unexpected curve balls.

She's supportive.

She goes above and beyond in every way imaginable.

She is a firm believer in people and their potential.

She's an inspiration to those who are fortunate enough to know her.

As I reflect on my connection with Summer and the role she has played in my life, I can’t help but be reminded that fostering quality connections and helping one another is not only something that feels good but necessary.

Nobody gets anywhere alone. People need people.

Who is a person in your life, similar to Summer, that strives to be someone who uplifts and supports you no matter what?
