"Who are the people you are surrounded with?"

This was one of the questions Jonathan Mayo and I explored on the Moments Worth Remembering podcast last week.

As Jon shared his thoughts on building authentic connections, it got me thinking about my own journey.

Over the years, I've come to realize a few things about the people I cross paths with.

I have realized that it’s not about the number of friends or acquaintances I have; it's about the quality of the relationships I cultivate.

I have realized that not everyone you meet will be a lifelong companion, and that's perfectly okay.

Some people come into your life for a season, teaching you valuable lessons or providing support during a specific chapter.

Others may become lifelong friends, sharing the ups and downs of life for years to come.

Understanding and accepting this dynamic has been a significant part of my growth.

Be open to meeting new people and allowing them into your life, even if it's just for a brief moment.

Value those who stay by your side, and don't be afraid to let go of those who don’t.
